More Classes at Stitch DC

KNITTING CLASSES
Fair Isle Vest:   Learn to do corrugated ribbing, stranded knitting, how to hold and carry multiple colors in a single row and how to steek (cut your project at the end).  Four 1.5 hour sessions starting February 11. 

Classes: 2/11, 18, 25, and March 4 / 6:30 to 8:00 pm
Class fee: $80 (materials not included but mention class membership and receive 10% off all materials)

Improve your knitting by building your skill base.  Sometimes knowing a new, better or improved way to do what we take for granted can make your project even better.
5 ways to Cast on:  When and why to use different cast on methods.  feb13 / 11:15 to 12:15pm  $15
3 knitted heels:  do you knit socks, here is a way to improve your heels  feb20 /11:15 to 12:15pm $15
3 knitted toes:  figure eight toes, provisional toes, & basic decreased toes.  feb27 / 11:15 to 12:15 pm $15

Sewing Classes
Zippered Pouch:  learn to insert a zipper and make a cute case for your sewing or knitting accessories 
1/28 and 2/4 from 6:30 to 8:00 pm $35 plus materials

Quilting:  Learn the basic steps of creating a small quilt . You will create a basic four patch block, baste, machine and hand quilting techniques, and bind your quilt. You should be familiar with sewing machine basics to take this class. $55 plus materials
Tuesdays: 2/2 and 2/9 -- 6:30 to 8:00

Applique:  Appliqué is a technique used for applying designs onto a background fabric. Learn to embellish your sewing or felting with hand sewn appliques.  Personalize almost anything.You'll also learn basic embroidery stitches that can be used in combination with fabric applique.  This class is inspired by Sew Liberated.  Check out the applique clock. 
2/11 and 2/18 from 6:30 to 8:00 pm  $35 plus materials

What time are the fair isle classes? You have dates, but no times...

Lovely classes here...but I guess I need to have more idea about all these before I can jump into them.The stitching machine is quite a thing to handle.
