HAPPY THANKSGIVING


Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. And here is just a quick rundown of Stitch DC hours over the holiday weekend.

* Wed Nov. 26: 11 to 4pm -- so staff and family can get on the road, bake, stuff, and knit!

* Thursday: Closed

* Friday: Open from 11-7 -- bring your leftovers and FOs and knit with us!

* Saturday: Open from 11-7

* Sunday: Open from Noon to 5 pm

Here is the pattern instructions. If you missed November's Blanket Class, this might be a great option for your blanket square. Or while you're waiting for the pumpkin pie and Turkey to finish, you can stay busy with an extra square or 2.
ABBREVIATION:
YS: (Yo, Sl 1) Wyif, sl 1 purlwise, take yarn to back over top of needle. RT With tip of RH needle, sl yo off LH needle knitwise, k next st, pass yo over k st.LT Drop yo off LH needle and let it fall to back of work, insert RH needle between first and 2nd sts on LH needle and draw yo through to front, k next st, pass yo over k st.9-st LC Sl 6 sts to cn and hold to front, k3, sl last 3 sts back to LH needle, hold cn with 3 k sts to back of work, p1, RT, p1, k3 from cn.
