Classes this week at Stitch DC

For help on those last minutes items that need to knit and finished: INDIE STUDY

Tonight from 6:30 to 8:00. Bring your project and I'll help you get thru the rough patches. $20/ no reservation necessary.

For the new knitter ... BEGINNER / LEARN TO KNIT

Three sessions total (dates: 12/1, 8, 15) from 6:45 to 8:00. Learn to knit, purl, stockinette stitch, seed stitch, cast on, bind off. Make a few small gifts before the holidays. $90/plus materials.

For the novice knitter who may be sick of just scarves... CABLED HATS WITH TANIS GRAY.

Two sessions (Thursdays 12/3 and 12/10) from 6:30 to 8:00. Learn to knit cables (super easy) and make a fabulous and fashionable hat for the upcoming chilly season. I love hats because they knit up faster than scarves and as we have only 25 days to Christmas that is critical!

For the knitter who wants to try something new or perfect a skill: COLOR EXPLORATION. Guest designer, Mary Jane Mucklestone, will bring her unique projects and teach fair isle techniques and design on Saturday 12/5. From 11-5 pm lunch included. $85/materials not included.
