Busy Weekend at Stitch DC. Here is a run down of Noni workshops, trunk Shows and Free Sunday Holiday workshops.
We will open this weekend both days at 10:00 am.
Monday we are open from noon to 5:00 pm.
The Noni Workshops are now completely full (saturday from 11-5 and sunday from 11-5). But we have a special treat for those of you who may have missed the opportunity to sign up for the class... A trunk show of Noni's patterns. Nora Bellows is bringing many of her fantastic designs so stop by the store between 3:30 and 6:00, browse the beautiful felted purses, be inspired and save 10% on the supplies for a new Noni purse.
At the same time, Jul Silver will be at the store from 3:30 to 6:00 showing off her beautiful bag hardware, Shawl pins, jewelry and more. Come by and see this artist's incredible work and maybe pick up some gifts for you and your friends.
Sunday's Holiday Knit Along will follow our Felting Theme this week. I'm also tossing in a crocheted version. The best thing is that both the knit and crochet are constructed the same way. See you sunday from 1-3. Remember this class is free with purchase of materials.

Hi -- I just wanted to forward a story from today's Washington Post that I thought you and your readers might enjoy. It's about a rapper, who is an AIDS educator and also loves to crochet. He does it during his commute on the Metro.
