Three Bags Full

This weekend, more free classes... both days... at Capitol Hill... Saturday and Sunday from 2:30 to 4:30.

Now the details... and remember to read to the end... there is a bit of surprise at the end!

Bag 1: The Brea Bag is available here. Learn to knit cables, shape, increase and decrease and create a simple yet beautiful spring purse. Knit originally in Alpaca, I'm working mine in cotton and going to get one of these great bag handles from Jul Silver. Stitch DC will be hosting a trunk show for Jul Silver -- great buttons, handles, jewelry, etc, in April. If you can't wait til the Trunk Show, I'll have the catalog and will take orders. More details on that will come. (note this is not the surprise... read on).

Bag 2: A crocheted market sac. Pick up a crochet hook and learn how to make granny squares into this hip summer tote. This is not your grandma's crochet!

Bag 3: (hint this this the surprise) A bag full of savings. Stitch DC's spring sale starts today... 15 to 60 percent off all weekend. Books, yarns, needles, etc... Also with a purchase of $85 or more, you'll get a reusable canvas Stitch DC totebag.

So the summarize:

  • Sale: all weekend
  • Free Classes: both bags both days at Capitol Hill from 2:30 to 4:30. All in the bag!
  • One more thing, if you want to learn to knit... take our knitting Crash Course at Georgetown.

Marie, thank you so much for this great series of free classes. Just last week a group of us were talking about how we love the concept and wish we could be there for all of them. I plan to be there this Sunday!
