Weekend Events

We're back... We're open all weekend.  Hooray.  We have lots of fun and many free events this weekend.  Check them out below... Also all purchases qualify for double points on your Stitch DC Reward Cards.  Need to sign up for a card, just come in!

If you need help getting your valentine a gift we can help.  Here are just a few suggestions:



* For your fiberista:  a little cashmere (200 yards) can be better than chocolate. 

For your quilter:  a custom fat quarter collection. We will help you put together a beautiful collection.  Just ask.

For any crafter:  Gift certificates that can be used for yarn, fabric, tools, accessories and classes
WEEKEND EVENTS AND WORKSHOPS:

Come by on Saturday and Sunday for fun events:

* Build your skills:  Improve your knitting by building your skill base. Sometimes knowing a new, better or improved way to do what we take for granted can make your project even better.
5 ways to Cast on: When and why to use different cast on methods. feb13 / 11:15 to 12:15pm $15

* A line skirt:  class number two.  put a zipper in your skirt.  Please note this class will start at 1 pm. 

* SATURDAY FREE CLASS:  from 3:30 to 5:00 pm ... Come in with the kids and make hand and machine sewn valentine cards.  The class is free with the purchase of materials. 

SUNDAY:
We are open from noon to 5 and celebrating Valentine's Day all day!  We are doing free projects all day sprinkled with snacks and fun bevs...

THESE WORKSHOPS ARE FREE WITH THE PURCHASE OF MATERIALS:
From Noon to 1:  felted fortunue cookies








From 1 to 2 pm  :  Hand made felted valentines with the kids...

From 2 to 3 pm: Make this with Katie:  Sewn Applique Bibs.  Katie will show you how to transform an old tee shirt into a fun one of a kind baby bib.  this class is free with purchase of materials.  bring your own tee shirt and purchase about 1/2 yard of fabric

From 2:30  to 4:00:  hand felted necklace.  Stitch DC now carries roving.... Learn to hand felt baubles for a unique necklace. 

4:00 to 5:00... Yarn tasting.  Enjoy trying out new and old yarns and of course tasty treats!
