Spend the 4th of July knitting, and if anyone asks you why, tell them that there is almost not better way to celebrate independence. If they do not believe you, tell them that in the early days of the United States people were urged to knit so they wouldn't need to buy clothes and woolen goods from England, thus contributing to the country's burgeoning independence and freedom.
Go out and support your LYS! Stitch DC will be closed on Saturday, July 4th but back open @ 12noon on Sunday, July 5th.
