Join us for our free Stitch DC Blanket class each month.
Each month, join us at our Capitol Hill Stitch to knit or crochet square. Learn a new knit or crochet stitch and work on 1 of your 12 blanket squares. Missed last month. No problem. Just come and ask for last month's pattern or check out the blog.

BEGINNER CLASSES
LEARN TO KNIT: Three steps to knitting. The first class will cover just the beginning – casting on and knitting. Class 2 we explore the other stitch – Purl – and start to learn stitch patterns. In class number 3, you’ll learn how to fix basic mistakes and bind off. You can choose to take one, two or three. If you decide to take all three, you must sign up for all three at the same time. Materials are not included in the class fee.
One class -- $30 / Two classes--$60 / Three classes: $90
Class 1: Sept 3/ 6:30to 8:00 pm
Class 2: July 10 / 6:30 to 8:00 pm
Class 3: July 17 / 6:30to 8:00pm
LEARN TO CROCHET:
Learn to Crochet: Granny squares. They're not what they used to be! Make a hip scarf for fall. . Materials are not included in the class fee. One class -- $30
ADVANCED CLASSES – If you know how to knit/purl or crochet, then these classes are the next steps!
Independent Study: Design your own class. Bring your project, get expert advice and enjoy a pleasant knit/crochet group. Knitter and Crocheters welcome.
$20 per session. Buy 4 sessions and get one free!

Baby Knits: Learn to knit diaper covers for eco friendly baby. Just as easy as a hat but more of a conversation piece at the baby shower and the park! Make a cover in two classes easy. $55 plus materials. Marie will provide pattern.

Abigail Tee: Marie designed this last Fall. It’s a great transition piece for your wardrobe. Knit it with the designer. Marie will help with subtle fit and design details. Three classes $80 plus materials. Marie will provide pattern

Be A DesignerAll you need to design is an idea, and know how to knit and purl. I’ll help you with the rest. Class fee is $90 per class series… If you sign up for two or more, the price will be $75 each. Materials not included.
Design Your Own Socks: Socks are so interesting to make. There is a basic formula and you can add so many different things to spice it up! Learn how to make your own spicy sock pattern.

CLASS FAQ’s
* Pre-payments are required for all classes. Please be sure to confirm your schedule upon registration as we cannot accommodate individual make-up classes.
*Classes may be cancelled due to insufficient registration - less than 3 students. If classes are cancelled, students receive a full refund.
*For students can withdraw from any class within 7 days and receive 75 percent refund. No refunds for withdrawals less than 7 days before class.
*Classes given at Stitch DC are designed for our materials and supplies. We thank you for supporting our store. Free classes are held for the enjoyment of students who work with yarn purchased from the store.
*Due to limitations of staff time and schedule, we cannot offer make-ups session for missed classes.
