A favorite student

This is why I love what I do... Over two years ago, I taught a beginner knit class and made fast friends with a new knitter. This knitter has grown, her knitting has matured, she's made socks, sweaters, etc.

On monday, she stopped by to give a little gift. This sweet sweater for Oonagh. I am so touched.

Susan remains one of my most favorite students not because of this gesture but because of her enthusiasm for the craft. Thanks again!

Hi! This is unrelated to your current post (although that little babe is precious!) but I just wanted to say how much I love your book, and how excited I am to be able to tell you!! I've knit the girl's summer suit and diaper cover as quick knits to get me out of my spring-induced knitting funk, and i just finished binding off the romper (yet to be sewn and blocked) and the patterns are WONDERFUL. easy to read, knitter-friendly, and just gorgeous results! this book was a gift to me, and it is at the top of my list!! (i have two boys and one on the way to keep my hands busy for a while!) thank you so much for a delightful pattern book.
