Will there be a Stash Club for 2009? I've enjoyed picking out interesting fibers; creating new patterns; and tempting/challenging stash members to use new techniques.
Look for a post on Wednesday 11/19/08 for Stash 2009. One big lesson learned this year is that we will have to cap members at 100. Last year, 100 members signed up within days of launching the club. If you are interested, just be sure to call early!

Awesome! I don't care what the people on Ravelry said, I loved 2008. I didn't mind waiting for the late ones and I can always find something to do the choices, even if they're a little strange or small.
I totally agree with your comment! Even getting Cascade 220 for two months pushed my horizons by getting me to try fairisle.
Stash Club has definitely made me plumb the depths of my creativity. After all, there are only so many scarves a gal can make with those single skeins of yarn (or balls of thread).
It was such an adventure to knit the patterns, since they usually didn't have pictures. I liked the surprise of knitting something without knowing exactly how it would turn out.
stasher1 has a good point. It's like one of those mystery KALs. I guess not everyone likes the surprise factor, but we can always go to the Ravelry group to see how some of the mystery patterns knit up - or get ideas for other projects.
