Baby Chicks

No not another post for Cole or Nora. When I went to the Georgetown Store, I found these critters in the window. Jess and Amber found them on Ravelry. You can also get the free pattern here. I often ask my staff to make fun swatches to show off the yarns, Jess and Amber topped themselves with this ingenious crafty project.

Now for another swatch of new yarns in Georgetown. Something a bit more traditional knit in the O-Wool new 2-ply organic wool fingering-weight version of the orginial Classic. This yarn is especially well-suited for socks, baby garments, lace and fair isle. Each skein is approximately 1.75 ounces/50 grams and 198 yards. Recommended needles are US 2-3 to get 26 to 30 stitches per 4".
